The Pink House, Newburyport, MA.
The romance of the house brings to mind not only a new start, a home of the heart, but the yearning for the perfect dream home as in John Cougar Mellencamps song, Little Pink Houses. Don't we all have a dream house, a place of independence, artistic license, and a place where a person wouldn't be bothered with close neighbors and live in a natural and elemental habitat. It almost seems like this house is a house of the heart and a motif for the yearning of the dream home and maybe those times we could " stop a clock".
