Wall And Beach At Ten Pound Island
Ten pound island, located in the midst of the Gloucester, Ma harbor was once the home of some fish hatcheries and a hanger for a pontoon plane that landed on Gloucester harbor. The wall and beach were once the anchor for some wooden wharves on the island. Accessible only by boat or kayak, it is home to Ten Pound Island Lighthouse and many seagulls. Painted digitally with art set for i-pad in Aug. 2015 by Melissa Abbott a Gloucester Native and Artist who studied painting Monserrat College of Art.
